You are looking at a 3d printed Renault Zoe AC port cover in black.
Perfect for those with an AC cover that has been snapped off or just fallen off and would rather not pay a massive amount for the dealers to get a replacement i think they are £500 from Renault as you need the entire thing?
This is a simple design, made from plastic, slots into existing hole. This is not spring loaded in any way shape or form, but it is very strong and durable. We could add a hole in the port cover should you so wish if you wanted to add some sort of strap to secure it when charging, but i'm sure slowly drilling the piece would have the same result.
Don't get us wrong, we can not put any 'watertight' guarantee on this product, and do advise getting some sort of gasket (maybe a window sealing strip) to run along the inside lid of our replacement cover.
In saying that if it was having this as a replacement vs. not having a cover for the AC socket at all, we think it is money well spent.
This might fit things like BMW i3 (no rapid) as it uses the same port design, and i believe you can get the rubber connectors from the i3 to fit the Zoe, but i doubt they will be as cheap as this 3d printed part and the i3's don't 'flap' open either so would work in a similar way to our part.
This item will come in black unless you specify another colour to 'pimp your port' we can pretty much get any colour so just send us a message first to check.
